A week ago, I was lucky enough to receive another bouquet from Prestige Flowers. I was sent one in December and loved them (read about that here) so when they contacted me asking to send me another, I was really excited.
My neighbour had to take them in for me and I completely forgot they were coming. I couldn’t go around to collect them until late afternoon and it was on the hottest day of the year which I think worked against the gorgeous flowers. When I got them home and opened the box, I found a beautiful bouquet which was made up of roses, daisies and dragon snaps. The contrasting colors make them lovely to look at, they’d make a great centrepiece for your dining table (I don’t have one, all my flowers go in my kitchen window where other people can see them!)
As well as the flowers, I also got a vase to put them in and some flower food. I’m no florist so trimming the stems and arranging the flowers doesn’t come naturally to me but I think I did an OK job! The roses were a little brown but I have to say that I think that’s down to the heat on that day because the other flowers in the bunch are absolutely fine. There was also a pack of handmade British truffles (which were amazing) and a teddy bear. Archie picked up the teddy bear straight away and gave it a hug, it’s so soft. I didn’t realise until later on that the bear was called Charlie. This was the name of Gareth’s childhood dog who passed away earlier this year so we got a little emotional about that.
A week on, the flowers are doing well. The roses haven’t got any worse and the other ones look as fresh as they did when I put them in the vase. They smell lovely too, everytime I go into the kitchen I get a waft of their fresh scent and it makes me smile. They looked lovely in the sunshine and they’re also brightening up my window now that the weather has turned grey and drizzly again.
If you want to get yourself one of these lovely bouquets, this is the exact one I was sent and if they don’t take your fancy, check out what else they offer here, a lot of their bouquets you can receive the next day. Perfect for a last minute birthday gift!
Prestige Flowers sent me this bouquet free of charge in exchange for a review. This does not affect my views or opinions I have, they’re all my own.
